Cookie policy

Version 2026-10-28 · Effective 28 October 2026 · TENDERSEAL LTD

This policy explains what TenderSeal (web.tenderseal.com), provided by TENDERSEAL LTD, stores in your browser, and why. Read it with our Privacy Policy.

1. The short version

  • TenderSeal sets no cookies. It uses your browser's local storage and session storage instead. The law treats these the same way as cookies, so this policy covers them.
  • Everything stored is strictly necessary for the service you asked for: keeping you signed in, remembering your language and layout, and keeping the app working. Storage that is strictly necessary needs no consent (regulation 6(4) of the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003), so there is nothing to accept or refuse.
  • Notifications, only if you turn them on. TenderSeal then registers a small script with your browser (a service worker) that shows TenderSeal's notifications when they arrive, even with TenderSeal closed, and opens TenderSeal when you click one. It does nothing else and keeps no copy of pages or files. Your browser keeps its notification subscription itself; turning notifications off, signing out, or removing the browser in Profile ends it (our Privacy Policy says what this involves).
  • No advertising, analytics or tracking. Nothing is stored for marketing, to measure you, or to follow you to other sites, and no other company stores anything in your browser through TenderSeal unless you choose to load an embedded video (section 3).

2. What is stored

Local storage stays in your browser until you clear this site's data. Session storage lasts until you close the tab. Names in angle brackets stand for an id, such as a document's. Nothing here holds the content of your documents. The sign-in session is sent only to TenderSeal and to Supabase, our sign-in provider; the rest never leaves your browser.

3. What loads from other sites

  • Typefaces come from our own site. Nothing is requested from Google Fonts or any other font service.
  • Videos embedded in a document (YouTube, Vimeo, Dailymotion, Youku, Coub) load nothing from those sites until you press the video's load button. YouTube videos then play from youtube-nocookie.com, YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode. Once a video has loaded, its site's own policy applies, and it may store things in your browser under its own name.
  • Pictures linked from a document, rather than uploaded to it, load from the site that hosts them. That site sees your IP address and browser, as with any visit. Pictures you upload are stored by TenderSeal.
  • Paying and signing in with Google happen on Stripe's and Google's own pages, which you open by choosing to pay, manage billing or continue with Google. Their own cookie policies apply there.

4. Your choices

  • Cookie settings opens from the notice shown on your first visit, from the foot of our public pages, and from Profile, Your data. It lists each kind of storage TenderSeal uses. Today that is only "strictly necessary", which is always on.
  • To remove everything, clear this site's data in your browser's settings. That signs you out and resets your language and layout choices.
  • If you block storage, TenderSeal cannot keep you signed in.

5. Changes to this policy

If TenderSeal ever adds storage that is not strictly necessary, such as analytics, we will ask for your consent before anything is stored, and update this policy first. The version and date at the top change with each update.
